DXN career methods
A DXN career is possible in different ways. I haven’t looked at other companies’ marketing plans, but I know our own company’s quite well. Since I am an open-minded and analytical person, I think it makes sense for you to read this article. It will tell you what matters and what is mere glamor.
Milestones of the DXN career
Every MLM company has career stages, and DXN is no exception. These have different names and conditions from company to company. They all like to use the words “diamond” and “gold”. What the DXN career levels have in common is that once you achieve them, you can’t lose them, provided you don’t break the sales rules and business ethics. What really counts?
Generally speaking, higher career levels mean higher earnings, but that’s not a law. In a marketing plan where there is no descent from one career level to the next, there is no direct correlation between bonus and career level. Since each career level is based on accumulated points, you can also become a Diamond by signing up 6 friends and buying 4500 points for each of them, i.e. the Star Agent level. The month you complete the 6 Star Agents, you must meet the criteria for a qualifying Diamond and you have the level. You are a diamond. And if no one buys anything after that, you’re still a Diamond. Even if you don’t earn a single penny from this business. You’ll have your beautiful pin and that’s it.
Not all that glitters is gold
I’m sure every senior executive at DXN has helped a colleague become a diamond at some point. (And so they too have reached their next level.) Equally, it’s possible that everyone already has a diamond who has given up their DXN career in the meantime and is no longer working. But I also know people who don’t spend their time learning the trade, but when they finish a diamond line, register the whole team on a new line to get to the next level of the business. And then again. Unfortunately, management also rewards career progression rather than successful network building. In this sense, a DXN career is just a bubble. But be careful who you join! It is better to join a good professional at a lower level than an empty career level.
The DXN career path
When someone signs up with a business interest, their sponsor tells them the best way to be successful. In my observation, 99% of the time, newcomers ignore this and go off on their own. Networking really isn’t rocket science, anyone can be successful with it. If, after the first few attempts, he realize that it’s not working the way he thought it would, there are two options. One option – which most people choose – is to quit and try again later with another company using the same useless method. This almost never turns into a career.
The other option, which is very rare, is to keep trying until an effective method emerges that is acceptable to him. This is usually something that is at least 80% in line with what his sponsor initially advised him to do. He could just as well have started from the beginning. But ultimately, you can reach your goal by taking a detour.
This is the right place to brag
I was brought up not to brag. But network marketing is all about how to market yourself most effectively. And about flaunting your successes, because the failures are sure to be exposed by others. As it happens, I had something to be proud of for a while. My wife and I belong to the thin layer of people who didn’t give up when the first setbacks came. Although, even if I was beaten to death, I couldn’t say what drove us to do it. We weren’t destitute, we had no debt, no real wealth. We loved it, and we love doing it. And I learned firsthand that if you practice something for 10,000 hours, you can do it at a very high level. I may have the 10,000 hours of practice already, but who’s counting, right?
In 2023, we managed to triple our monthly turnover. But in contrast to the point value in January 2023 – which was a peak value at the time – the point value in January 2024 was five times as high. What is the secret of a DXN career?
In my case, there are two secrets. The first is that I can reach a lot of people on social media and successfully build trust there. The other is a decision: In January 2023, I was asked to give a talk at the 14th birthday of the DXN in Hungary. At that time, I added up all the points that came from the partners I had just recruited. It was then that I realized that we could have had a new diamond line if I had enrolled these people not directly, but among each other in the structure and in the right place. And then my wife and I decided that we would no longer sign up 60-70 people a month directly, but only 20-25. We put the rest in the right places in the structure.
I personally sponsor them in the same way, our commission will be less after them, but our career level has been skyrocketed. The difference is that I don’t buy the new levels, I also pass on the revenue to my employees who become diamonds. And I don’t arbitrarily choose who I help. If we hadn’t made this decision, we would still be Executive Senior Star Diamonds, with 4 Diamond lines, but we would have at least €1000 more in monthly bonuses. But now we are Gold Diamonds, with 8 diamond lines, and hope to have our ninth line ready in May.
The icing on the cake
One of the fundamental questions is: How do you better help others? By giving them fish or by teaching them to fish? I think the latter, but unfortunately few people want to learn. What we have learned from our sponsor, Judith Faragóné Keserű, is to help our teammates and give them tools to work with. But I have also learned how little demand there is for effective tools. For example, we have an online system that, as far as I know, nobody else at DXN in Europe has. But nobody really wants to use it.
Let’s concentrate on the hard core!
We currently have a network of about 2700 people, of which I believe less than 10 people want to make a difference. They are the “hard core”. They are the ones that I know are willing to learn, so I give them the secret ingredient that makes my method work. So, in addition to the usual Sunday evening Zoom talks, we organized a team-building training weekend in CserkeszÅ‘lÅ‘, a week before Easter. I thought it would be fun, but that it would be so good…
This little summary can’t reflect the whole experience, but it was about learning and getting results.
The secret ingredient
Now, I’m not going to reveal this anywhere except to members of our own team. I know that anything that’s good gets copied, so it didn’t surprise me that there are a lot of people working on social media videos similar to mine. I also know what they’re not doing right, and I have a good idea of what changes they should make to make it explode. But I also protect my secrets because I know how valuable they are. To preserve that value, you need to join us. And believe me, I have no problem if you want to build a consumer network elsewhere. Just as I was able to learn and figure out what works, so can others.
